Ranks attached to the Narcotics Branch of the Guyana Police Force on Friday conducted an eradication exercise at Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke-Linden Highway, during which more than 5,000 marijuana plants were destroyed.
According to a terse police statement on the exercise, the illegal plants were discovered on a four-acre cultivation.
The plants ranged from four to six feet in height. No arrest was made.
