Youth on bail over theft of wallet in robbery

A young man was charged yesterday with the theft of a wallet during a robbery.

Anfernee Henry, 21, was brought before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer to the robbery charge.

The charge alleges that Henry, on October 30, at Stabroek Market, stole a wallet worth $4,000, $12,000 in cash, a Digicel sim card worth $1,000 and a national identification card, which were all the property of Troy Moore.

When read the charge, Henry pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor did not object to bail, which the magistrate set at $70,000 before adjourning the matter until      November 17.
