A businessman was yesterday morning attacked by two bicycle bandits, who robbed him of a gold chain a short distance from his Kaneville, East Bank Demerara home.
The attack occurred around 9.30 am at Second Street, Kaneville, East Bank Demerara.
At the time, Stabroek News was told, Devon Headecker, 23, of Lot 113 Kaneville, was proceeding from him home to make a purchase at a nearby shop. However, he was confronted by the two bandits, one of whom was armed with a handgun.
The men held Headecker at gunpoint and demand that he hand over the chain. He complied, after which the men fled.
