Three men posing as passengers in a Route 42 minibus were yesterday morning arrested shortly after they allegedly robbed the driver and several passengers at gunpoint of a quantity of cash and valuables at McDoom, East Bank Demerara.
Stabroek News understands that the incident occurred around 10am, minutes after the suspects and other passengers boarded the minibus at the Stabroek Market bus park.
Investigations, the police said, revealed that as the vehicle approached McDoom, the suspects requested to be dropped off at Middle Street, Mc Doom.
