Kumaka carpenter on ganja trafficking charge

A Kumaka carpenter was yesterday granted bail over a ganja trafficking charge.

The charge stated that Paul Bacchus on December 21st at Kumaka Waterfront had in his possession 160 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.

Bacchus pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Police prosecutor, Arvin Moore stated that the said narcotic was found in a haversack that belongs to the defendant.

Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan granted him $150,000 bail and adjourned the matter to January 4th.
