(Trinidad Express) A Diego Martin man is expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate charged with the December 5 murder of Keon Allister Patterson aka “Sasha Fierce”. The accused is Neil Anthony Byer 31, of La Puerta Avenue, Diego Martin
He had previously appeared before Port of Spain Magistrate Nanette Forde-John on December 14, charged with possession of firearm and ammunition, in relation to the same incident and was remanded in prison custody. Patterson, 28, who identified as transgender, of Pashley Street, Laventille, was standing in the vicinity of Mandela Park, Serpentine Road, St. Clair, when he was approached by two men, one armed with a gun and shot several times about the body. He died at the scene.
