Joint Services, helicopter in operations over D’Urban Backlands

Joint Services ranks and a Guyana Defence Force helicopter are engaged in an operation near the D’Urban Backlands area in Georgetown.

It is unclear if this operation is connected to the search for the five escapees.

The operation moved later to Sophia.
