Chinese businessman killed at Tuschen

The lifeless body of a Chinese businessman was found bound and gagged in his Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo, home last night.

Police Commander of ‘D’ Division, Leslie James confirmed with Stabroek News last night that the man’s body had been found but was unable to provide any further details.

Stabroek News learnt that the man, who lived alone and operated a Chinese fast food restaurant on the lower flat of his house, was found in his bathroom with his hands tied behind his back and his mouth gagged. The rooms in the house were ransacked.  The man had reportedly only recently moved from Soesdyke.
