Eron Lall wins contract for $66.4m Region Four works

Eron Lall Civil Engineering Works has secured a $66.4m contract for a variety of works in Region Four.

A release from the Ministry of the Presidency on Friday said that Cabinet at it August 15th meeting took note of this contract which will cover the construction of roads, drains, structures and the installation of a pure water distribution network in Demerara-Mahaica.

Cabinet also took note of a $62m contract awarded to GuyAmerica Construction Incorporated. This contract is for Lot #1- Farm, East Bank Demerara and Lot #2 – Covent Garden, East Bank Demerara.

B&S  Contracting Service clinched a contract for $27.7m for the building of the Paruima Primary School,  Upper Mazaruni while Mohamed Ramzanalli Khan secured a $17.7m contract for the erection of the Baramita Nursery School, Barima-Waini (Region One).

Meanwhile, MEECO Services Deutschland GMBH of Germany has won a contract for $19.5m for the supply of five photovoltaic systems for the National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute (NAREI). The stations will be in regions 4, 8 and 9.

Seeram Civil Engineering and Woodworking Establishment has also clinched a contract worth $909,000 for the transport of fuel and lubricants for NAREI for the period July to December 2017.
