Red House lease should not have been prioritised

Dear Editor,

Speeding causes road deaths. I hope that the APNU+AFC government of President David Granger will bring the full force of the law against all perpetrators and arrest these law-breakers and place them before the courts with the same gusto that it pursuing the matter of the Red House lease.

Which brings me to the topic at hand: That is, the Red House Lease in which the embattled APNU+AFC government has embroiled itself by claiming that the lease is invalid. Since the matter is before the court I hope that there will be a speedy resolution to the case.

Editor, there are priorities that the embattled APNU+AFC government needs to deal with, and it is shocking that the Red House lease has been prioritized above other daily concerns of Guyanese. I would have thought that dealing with the recent flooding problems in Guyana would have greater priority than dealing with the Red House lease.

Yours faithfully,

Sean Ori
