Where are we heading?

Dear Editor,

The majority side of the aisle in the hallowed Chamber led by the leader of that side, chose to walk out when the leader of the opposite side rose to make concluding remarks to the week long budget debate.

This move is baffling since they all sat through and listened to contributions from all the other members on the minority side of the hallowed Chamber all week.

It can only be concluded the walk out was personal rather than a matter of principle.

So the majority walked out when the minority rose to speak and the minority followed suit when the majority rose to speak.

Nice. Where are heading?

Yours faithfully,

Shamshun Mohamed
