This truck bearing licence plate number GPP 2299, ended up in a Princes Street trench yesterday, damaging a pipe, and disrupting the flow of water to residents in the process. The driver told Stabroek News that he had swerved to avoid a car that had been approaching on the narrow roadway.
It was a few hours before they were able to remove the vehicle from the waterway.
