Team Guyana: Members of the Guyana Defence Force completing a challenge in the Commando Competition in Paraguay. A team from the 31 Special Forces of the Guyana Defence Force recently participated in a Commando Competition which ran from July 17th-26th. Twenty countries comprised of security forces from the Caribbean, Central America, South America and the United States participated in this year’s competition. The teams competed in a variety of physical and mental challenges such as advanced marksmanship, a 12-mile road march and an obstacle course.
