Toolsie Persaud Group donates to orphanages: The Toolsie Persaud Group of Companies on Thursday donated 170 gallons of paint to the Shaheed Boys and Girls Orphanages in Georgetown. General Manager Ray Sukhnandan, who made the donation, expressed the Group’s commitment to promoting the welfare of vulnerable children in Guyana. “It is our aspiration to help these children grow and prosper in a safe and secure environment,” he was quoted as saying in a statement issued by the Group. He also assured the public that the Group will continue to work with charitable groups to create a better place for the less fortunate.
