The Ministry of Public Infrastructure will soon commence emergency rehabilitation works on the Railway Embankment Bridge at Ogle, East Coast Demerara, resulting in the structure’s closure.A release from the ministry today said that these works will commence on September 30, 2017 and will see the closure of the bridge to all traffic. Before then, the bridge will be closed to all trucks requiring a lorry licence. This closure to trucks will take effect from tomorrow, September 23.
