After decades of standing sentry at the corner of Croal Street and Avenue of the Republic, this tree gave up its post in spectacular fashion on Friday evening, when it fell onto the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts building, resulting in minor damage to the northern fence and several air-conditioning units.
