EBSC congratulates its GCB 2016 awardees

The Enterprise Busta Sports Club (EBSC) has congratulated two of its members who were rewarded for outstanding performances during the year by the Guyana Cricket Board at its annual awards ceremony Thursday evening at Umana Yana.

The tow cricketers are national youth cricketer Bhaskar Yadram and Chanderpaul Singh.

Yadram, the GCB’s Junior Cricketer-of-the-Year, received the Roy Fredericks Trophy and the 17-year-old wunderkind also won awards  for Most Valuable Player in the Regional Under-19 tournament; Most Runs in the Regional Under-19 tournament and Most Wickets in the Regional Under-17.

Yadram shared the latter award with Kevin Sinclair.

Singh, the head curator at the club, received a plaque for his outstanding contribution to the sport as a curator.

Yesterday the club in a statement sated that the members and executives of the club were ecstatic over the duo’s achievements with the EBSC stating that it was proud to have provided avenues for both Yadram and Singh to excel.
