Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) overcame Marian Academy 6-4 when the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB)/Smalta U14 League continued last Friday at the St Stanislaus College auditorium.
Trailing 3-1 at the halftime interval, GCC secured the win following respective hat-tricks from the dynamic duo of Kirsten Gomes and Alana Cheung.
Continuing in the same section, Saints Sensations made light work of Hikers via a 7-0 score.
In the Boy’s Division, Hikers Garnett Street crushed Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) War Dogs 8-1 led by a hat-trick from event top shot Baraka Garnett. Saints Samurai edged Saint Scorchers by a 2-1 scoreline.
Action continues today at the St. Joseph High School auditorium from 16:00hrs.
