Star Party Rentals became the latest entity to throw its support behind the Petra Organization/GT Beer Futsal Championship, donating the Most Valuable Player (MVP), Highest Goal Scorer and Best Goalkeeper prizes yesterday at a simple presentation ceremony.
The eventual MVP of the championship will pocket $50,000 and a trophy, while the Highest Goal Scorer and Best Goalkeeper will walk away with $25,000 each and the respective accolade compliments of the company.
Speaking at the entity’s Craig Street location, Petra Organization Co-Director Troy Mendonca said:“On behalf of the Petra Organization, the football nation and the competing communities, we want to thank Lennox Cush and Star Party Rentals for their timely donation to the Petra Organization Futsal Championship”.
He added:“We want to applaud their continued support for the sporting fraternity and their social responsibility. We know for sure this contribution will go along way in the tournament”.
Mendonca said added that the competing teams should be applauded for their organization and the discipline displayed throughout the championship.
The tournament which is being staged at the National? Gymnasium, will resume tomorrow with the final six group fixtures.
