Rugby players get supplement boost from New GPC

The male and female players of the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) got a supplement boost from the New GPC yesterday.

According to a press release from the union, the players from both male and female 7s teams were the recipients of a quantity of medical supplies from the local pharmaceutical giant which will come in handy as the team commences its march on the road to the 2020 Olympics, participating in the upcoming World Sevens series in Hong Kong. The presentation was made by Elizabeth Ram, Marketing, Sales & Business Development Associate of the New GPC.

Receiving on behalf of the Union was ruggers, Blaise Bailey, Patrick King and Natasha Andrews.In an invited comment, Ram declared that the New GPC Inc. was pleased to be once again associated with the GRFU and its players.

“It is a pleasure and honor to support the Rugby Team with the medical supplies that they need to participate in the upcoming event in April. We have recognized the importance of sports development, as such, we are committed to playing our part as a corporate entity”.

The men’s national 7s team is currently in New York on a one-week training encampment playing a series of match games against top-flight clubs before departing for Hong Kong this weekend.
