Fitness fans mark your calendars, the flagship ‘Mr. Guyana’ event of the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Inc. (GBBFFI) will be staged on August 6 at the Marriott Hotel.
The nation’s premier musclemen and women will battle for supremacy in the bodybuilding, men’s physique, bikini and body fitness categories.
According to President of the Federation, Coel Marks “the venue is set at Marriott Hotel, which is the biggest venue in recent history for the show.”
Marks added “The choice of the venue is in keeping with the approach to appeal to a wider audience to come out dressed up and be entertained by the nation’s best gladiators. The show will be packed with entertainment pieces and prizes for both athletes (cash and devices) and audience goers.”
Reigning champions, Kerwin Clarke (bodybuilding), Emmerson Campbell (men’s physique), Alisha Fortune (body fitness) and Junica Pluck (bikini) are some of the big names scheduled to take the stage.
Admission is set at $2500 and action starts at 19:00hrs. See you there.
