New Amsterdam (NA) United and Monedderlust Football Club secured wins over Corriverton Links and Mahaicony Thunderhawks respectively when the National Milling Company (NAMILCO) National U17 League continued on Sunday.
Played at the Burnham Park ground, NA United hammered Corriverton Links 4-0. Tierre Phillips bagged a double in the 66th and 78th minute while Jamal McCalmont and Troy Munroe netted in the 40th and 87th minute respectively.
Over at the Paradise Ground, Monedderlust FC downed Paradise Invaders 2-0.Paul McDonald and Chetram ‘Devin’ Saroopchand scored in the third and 36th minute respectively while on Saturday, Paradise Invaders defeated Mahaicony Thunderhawks 1-0 at the Paradise Community Ground. Shakeel DeHarte netted in the 58th minute.
