The Guyana Chess Federation will Sunday stage a seven round, one-day Rapid Chess tournament at the National Resource Centre, Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands.
The tournament has a time control of 20 minutes per player per round. Registration starts at 9:30 am and the first round is scheduled to commence at 10 am. All chess players are invited to participate.
The registration fee is $1000.00 per player.
This will be the first tournament held since the new executive headed by Attorney-at-Law James Bond took office.
