The Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) sent the Guyana Amazon Warriors crashing to their third defeat in as many matches last evening at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Colin Munro continued his excellent run of form with another glorious exhibition of power hitting, thumping the hapless Warrior attack for 70 not out, as the Trinbago unit knocked the required target of 157 in 19 overs.
Munro came to the wicket on the second ball of the TKR innings as Brendon McCullum was dismissed for a duck. After that hiccup, it was all Munro and Sunil Narine, 23, who hammered the bowling, as the score raced to 79 before Narine fell to Steven Jacobs.
