Suriname downs Guyana 3-1 in U15 football

Guyana’s winless record in the CONCACAF Boys U15 Championship continued, as they went down to Suriname by a 3-1 score-line yesterday at the IMG Academy Facility, Florida, United States of America.

Following a 1-1 draw with St. Kitts and Nevis in their group-F opener, the Guyanese took the lead in the 18th minute, as Orville Daniels netted.

However the Surinamese secured the come-from-behind win, compliments of three unanswered goals. Guyana’s lead was short-lived as Fernando Heopel equalised two minutes onward…..
