Rising Stars hammer Strikers 4-0

Rising Stars continued their unbeaten run in the Bartica Zone of the NAMILCO under-17 League, trouncing Strikers by a 4-0 scoreline on Thursday, at the Bartica Secondary School ground.

It was the third consecutive win for Rising Stars, as Dornell James tallied a double in the sixth and 58th minute. He was assisted by Ziggy Edwards and Keenan Harper who scored in the 50th and 53rd minute, respectively.

Meanwhile, Lazio dismantled Beacons 5-1 in the second fixture of the match-day. Ezekiel King recorded a hat-trick in rout in the 14th, 23rd and 39th minute, while Ariel Burnett and Wesley Smith scored in the 30th and 49th minute, respectively.

For the loser, Kyle Caesar etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 29th minute.
