Cougars beat Paradise Invaders 2–1

Paradise Invaders suffered their first loss in the Berbice zone of the National Milling Company (NAMILCO) Under-17 League, losing to Cougars 2-1, on Sunday at the Burnham Park ground, New Amsterdam.

Cougars were led by a double from Lamar Reid in the 48th and 61st minute. On target in the loss was Shaqueel DeHarte in the 70th minute.

With the win, Cougars move onto 15 points and leapfrog Paradise into the top spot due to their superior goal differential.
