National Under–19 captain, Ronaldo Ali–Mohammed has hailed his side’s efforts after capturing the Regional Under–19 one –day and three day tournaments in St Kitts, calling it a great feeling shortly after landing in Guyana at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport yesterday.
Ali–Mohammed now becomes the second cricketer to lead Guyana to a Regional Under–19 double triumph after Brian Sattaur led Guyana to their first double in 2014. The one-day championship win is Guyana’s fourth in a row, starting with Sattaur’s triumph in 2014.
“It feels great to be crowned champions once more,” Ali–Mohammed, who was a member of the 2016 side said adding: “It was a great effort from the guys throughout the whole tournament.”
