Berbice branch secured a hard-fought win over Beer Plant when the Banks DIH Limited Inter-Department football tournament commenced on Tuesday at the Thirst park ground.
In what was their second match of the evening, the Berbicians clinched the result compliments of a conversion from C. Joseph. In their earlier contest, Berbice drew with Sales Department 0-0.
Meanwhile, Beer Plant and Trisco battled to a 2-2 result. Steve Massiah bagged a brace for Beer Plant, while J. Sobers and O. McKay scored for Trisco.
