Hamilton Green Cup resumes today with exciting triple header

The Hamilton Green Cup football championship will resume today at the Victoria Community ground with an exciting triple-header.

In the opening fixture at 17:00hrs, Den Amstel will oppose Golden Grove while the second contest will pit Mahaica against Soesdyke from 19:00hrs.

In the final fixture, Ann’s Grove will match skills with Buxton Stars from 21:00hrs. The event continues on October 1 at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground, Bourda with another triple-header.

The first fixture will pit Santos against Uitvlugt from 17:00hrs while Riddim Squad will battle Winners Connection at 19:00hrs. In the feature contest at from 21:00hrs, GFC will lock horns with Milerock FC.

The event will then move to the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) ground in Linden on October 7th. The Guyana Police Force will take aim at Silver Shattas, while Western Tigers match skills with Eagles FC from 21:00hrs.

The quarterfinal round commences on October 8th at the Victoria Community ground. The winning team will receive $500,000 and the Minister of Citizenship Trophy while the runners-up will pocket $250,000 and the Busta Trophy and the third place finisher $150,000 and the John Fernandes trophy.

The fourth place finisher will walk away with $100,000 and the Cummings Electrical Trophy.
