Berbician cyclist, Andrew Hicks brought his talents to the city yesterday and carted off the spoils of the feature 35-lap event of Laparkan multi-race criterium fixture.
In perfect conditions for racing on the inner circuit of the National Park, Hicks stopped the clock in one hour, 18 minutes and 13 seconds.
Besides the winner’s trophy, the 20-year old also snared two sprint prizes in leading Alonzo Ambrose and Paul DeNobrega onto the podium.
