Batsmen Jonathan Foo and Kevlon Anderson stroked centuries for Lower Corentyne who ended day one of their contest against East Coast on 343 for 3 with Foo posting 152 and Anderson an unbeaten 102 at Lusignan.
Meanwhile, Upper Corentyne who ended day one on 190 for 3 against Essequibo, were dismissed for 310 with David Latchaya scoring 105 while Anthony Bramble made 79.
Anthony Adams was once again in amongst the wickets after bagging 7 for 91.
Essequibo in their second innings was coasting on 361 – 3 with Keemo Paul smashing 177 from 126 deliveries while Ricardo Adams ended the day unbeaten on 62 and with him Kemol Savory on 37 at Port Mourant.
