Santos FC and Alpha United recorded contrasting wins when the Georgetown leg in the National Milling Company (NAMILCO) u17 League continued yesterday at the Tucville ground.
Santos made light work of Order and Discipline 6-0. On the other hand, Alpha United edged Pele 2-1. John McKenzie and Ramsay Ryan netted in the 29th and 36th minute apiece.
For the loser, Christopher Camacho scored in the 18th minute. Meanwhile, league leader Fruta Conquerors and Eastveldt battled to a scoreless result.
Over at the Golden Grove ground, Mahaica Determinators defeated Plaisance 2-0. The event continues at the same venue on Saturday with another round of matches.
