Alli’s 66th birthday dominoes competition on today in South Ruimveldt

A lucrative one–day dominoes tournament, in honour of Raymond Alli’s 66th birth anniversary, will be held today at 1222 Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt.

The tournament, which is expected to attract the cream of the country’s dominoes teams, is expected to commence at 1pm.

According to organizer Mark `Jumbie” Wiltshire, the tournament has a number of attractive prizes.

Among the teams expected to compete are Mix Up, C6, Rage, Spartans, Strikers, Frankie’s, All Seasons, Impressors, C7, F& H Supreme, Masters, Thunder, Assassins, Specialist, Phantom and Killas.

First prize is a trophy, $200,000 and a bottle of Special Moet, while the runners up will receive a trophy, $100,000 and one bottle Double Black Johnny Walker whiskey. The third placed team will receive a trophy, $70,000 and one bottle of Hennessy.

The Chief Steward will be Kevin Boston.
