Track and Field facility to be constructed in Georgetown

Minister of Social Cohesion, Dr. George Norton and President of the Guyana Olympic Association, K Juman-Yassin making points yesterday at the AAG’s Coaching Conference. Plans are in the pipeline for a synthetic Track and Field facility to be constructed in the city in the not too distant future.

This is according to Minister of Social Cohesion, Dr. George Norton and President of the Athletic Association of Guyana, Aubrey Hutson.

Hutson and Norton made the disclosure yesterday during the Coaches Conference which was held yesterday at the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) headquarters in Liliendaal.
