The Lions Club of Bel-Air in collaboration with Clear Waters, will stage a two day Domino Tournament this weekend at the former’s Enachu Street Headquarters in Section K Campbellville.
According to sources close to the Lions Club, over $500,000 in cash and prizes will be up for grabs. Winner of the event will pocket $250,000 and a trophy.
On the other hand, the runner-up will collect $140,000 and the corresponding accolade, while the third place team will walk away with $60,000 and a trophy. On the individual side, the Most Valuable Player will receive $10,000.
“Registration is $15,000 per team and it closes at 13:00hrs. All the Guyana National Domino Federation rules will be in effect and teams are reminded that no form of indiscipline will be tolerated” the source said.
