Horse racing action continues today at the Budhan’s Memorial Turf Club with the staging of a grand six-race card at the Club’s NO.66 Village track on the Corentyne.
The feature J Class and lower event will see the winning steed riding off with the $160,000 bounty while the second, third and fourth placed horses will pocket $80,000, $40,000 and $20,000.
Other events are the K Class and lower with a winning purse of $100,000, L1 and Lower with a winner taking home $90,000, L2 and Lower for a top prize of $60,000, The two-year old maiden for a first prize of $90,000 and the Unclassified which fetches a winning purse of $50,000.
