Winston Missigher capitalized on the absence of Cleveland Forde to win yesterday’s Oasis 5 K road race which started and ended outside the Children’s Monument in the National Park yesterday.
In second place was Cleveland Thomas while Jonathan Fagundes was third.
According to an official of the Athletic Association of Guyana, 152 of the 195 competitors who registered for the event participated.
