Netrockers and Amelia’s Ward maintained their undefeated records when the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) 2017/2018 Senior League continued on Friday.
Played at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) ground, Linden, Netrockers secured their third win in as many games, crushing Topp XX 3-1.
Shane Luckie netted goals in the 26th and 70th minute respectively while
Joel Beckles scored in the 60th minute.
Topp XX’s Tyric McAllister netted in the 78th minute. Netrockers remain in second position on nine points, losing out on the top spot to league leader Winners Connection, due to an inferior goal difference.
Topp XX drops to fifth position and remain on three point. Meanwhile, Amelia’s Ward maintained their grip on third position, edging Botafogo 1-0. Jevon Bobb scored in the eighth minute.
Botafogo remains without a point and drops to eighth place.
