Former acting president of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Franklin Wilson was returned as East Bank Football Association (EBFA) president at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday.
The meeting, which was staged at the Kuru Kururu Youth Centre, Linden Soesdyke Highway, was conducted by Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Technical Development Officer Lyndon France.
Also returning to office were Kevin Anthony, Noel Harry and Wayne Francois in the posts of First Vice-President, Second Vice-President and Secretary respectively.
The new additions to the executive are Dawn Joseph, Abigale Scott, Devnon Winter, Dillion Roberts, Orein Angoy and Owan Walton.
Joseph and Scott will serve as Treasurer and Assistant Secretary/ Treasurer respectively, while Winter, Roberts, Angoy and Wills were elected as Ordinary Members.
According to a release from the EBFA, “One Ordinary Member position is still outstanding due to the absence of the proposed individual; this position would be filled subsequently as per constitution.”
Among the highlights of the function, was the presentation of the “Audited Financial Statement, done by W.E James Consultancy Audit, Accounting & Taxation was also presented to the AGM and subsequently approved,” the release stated.
