Fruta Conquerors rising star and Golden Jaguar international Jeremy Garrett, has secured two overseas football trials in the United States of America (USA).
The trials will take place on December 10 and 16, and will be attended by several coaches from notable universities. Garrett will depart for the USA following the conclusion of the international friendly against Indonesia.
According to an official release from Fruta Conquerors, “The Fruta Conquerors Football Club is pleased that it has been able to secure, in collaboration with Ms. Claudia Simon of the USA, two college ID try outs for our stand out Youth Academy player Jeremy Garrett.”
The release said, “At these camps shall be coaches from several universities. The Universities are Maryland, Virginia Tech, James Madison, Loyola Maryland, Longwood, Virginia Military Institute, Washington and Lee, and Mary Washington. It is our hope that Jeremy’s s talent would shine through at these camps and then he shall be eventually selected or short listed for a possible scholarship opportunity.”
“We hope that some of our former players, and supporters would be able to meet with Jeremy while in the US so that they would be able to interact and meet this very talented player. We extend heartfelt thanks to Ms. Claudia Simon, the Guyana Beverage Company Incorporated and the Fruta Conquerors Organization for making this stint for Jeremy Garrett possible” the statement concluded.
