Defending champs edge Ol Skool Ballers

Action in the Channel-9-Warriors and Gaza Squad clash on the opening night of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Football Championship at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac Thursday night.

Two time defending champion Sparta Boss, Bent Street, North Ruimveldt and Future Stars won their matches when the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Georgetown Zone, started on Thursday.

Played at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac, Mandela Avenue, Sparta Boss edged Ol Skool Ballers 2-1 compliments of a ‘Guinness Goal’ (GG)-(a goal scored in the final three minutes of the match is counted as two) from Eusi Phillips in the 18th minute.

On target in the loss was Omari James in the 14th minute. Meanwhile, Future Stars demolished East Front Road 6-1.
