The Ministry of Communities and the National Sports Commission has roped in Aliann Pompey as a Brand Ambassador for the Green Generation Guyana (3G) Movement.
Pompey, a four-time Olympian and former national 400m record holder was named a Brand Ambassador of the initiative on Friday at the National Track and Field Centre where the venue was declared a Litter Free Zone.
Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ministry, Danielle Campbell then gave an overview of the 3G initiative, noting that it is aimed at developing the beauty of Guyana.
