Sparta Boss sets up dream final against Gold is Money

Two-time defending champions Sparta Boss secured a dream final with arch-rival Gold is Money in the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Georgetown zone, edging Leopold Street 1-0 on penalty kicks yesterday in their rescheduled semi-final fixture.

Locked 0-0 at the end of regulation and extra time at the Burnham Basketball Court, the defending champions overcame the taunts of the large, partisan crowd to secure their third consecutive final’s appearance.

Sheldon Shepherd was the difference on the night as he converted from the mark. For Leopold Street, Okanie Fraser and Omallo Williams failed to convert from the distance.
