The Thrush-like Antpitta (Myrmothera campanisona) is found in the Amazon Basin from eastern Colombia to the Guianas, south through Amazonian Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru, to northern Bolivia. The plumage of the Thrush-like Antpitta is brown above with lightly streaked, paler underparts, and a pale mark behind the eye.
The Thrush-like Antpitta is thought to subsist primarily on invertebrates captured on the forest floor. Specific food items include weevils, ants, grasshoppers and millipedes.
