GPSU rejects govt’s imposed wage hikes

The Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) yesterday condemned and rejected Govern-ment’s unilateral  increases of wages and salaries for public servants for 2018 which was revealed in a Ministry of Finance circular to All Heads of Budget Agencies.

House passes Civil Aviation Bill

The Civil Aviation Bill of 2017 was passed on Monday night, despite objections from Opposition Chief Whip Gail Teixeira, who requested that it be further deferred to the Special Select Committee for amendments.
