The St  Joseph High School Old Students’ Association announced on Sunday the hosting of the 7th Triennial International Reunion in Georgetown, Guyana from July 8 to 14, 2018.

A release yesterday from the association said that alumni, students, staff and friends of St Joseph High School from around the world are expected to converge here for the event to be hosted under the theme, “Celebrating a proud legacy of knowledge, love and service.”

This will be the fourth time in twenty-one years that the gathering will be held in Guyana. Reunions were previously held here in 2009, 2000 and at the school’s centennial celebrations in 1997.

The week-long celebration will include several events and will begin with an inter-faith service at the school on Sunday July 8, 2018.

The reunion will enable participants to view the works of the school and interact with the current students and teachers at an open day on July 13 at the school.

The talent of the school will be on show at the National Cultural Centre on Tuesday July 10 when a Talent Extravaganza is to be held.

The week will also include a Throw Back Party on Thursday July 12; a Games Day and Night on July 13; a tour to Santa Mission on July 11; and a Gala Ball on July 14 at the Pegasus Hotel.

Persons wishing to attend the reunion and secure event tickets and other items are encouraged to register through a link provided on the Associations’ Facebook page at  www.facebook/sjhosaguyana. No registration fee is being charged but registration offers 20% or more discount on tickets and memorabilia when packages are bought.

More information on the event is also available at the Association’s Facebook page, the event page on Facebook, or emailing the Association at sjhosaguyana@gmail.com.
