Driver dies after timber truck topples on Potaro road

A man died on Thursday night after the truck he was driving toppled, pinning him along 14 Miles Potaro Road, in Region Seven.

Dead is Kevon Sauers, 30, of Kwakwani Waterfront, Berbice River.

At the time of the accident, which occurred around 9 pm, Sauers was driving GSS 6366, with trailer TRR 5291, which was loaded with timber.

He was accompanied by porter Clifton Charles Rodrigues, who sustained minor injuries.
