Testifying yesterday was pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, who recalled performing an autopsy on the body of the deceased, Timothy Adams. After his examination, Singh gave the cause of death as haemorrhage and shock due to an incised wound to the neck, which he said was compounded by blunt trauma to the head.

The allegation against Freeman is that on December 22nd, 2013, he murdered Adams at Turtle Creek, Five Star Backdam in the North West District.

The trial continues tomorrow afternoon.

Representing the accused is attorney Folio Richards.

The state’s case, meanwhile, is being presented by prosecutors Lisa Cave and Mandel Moore.
