A 33-year-old vendor was on Wednesday placed on $75,000 bail for allegedly stealing a woman’s gold chain.
The charge alleged that Jose Barker on February 19th at Robb Street, stole from the person of Jessica Farina one gold chain valued at $500,000.
Barker pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The prosecutor made no objections to bail being granted.
Magistrate Fabayo Azore subsequently placed the man on $75,000 bail and adjourned the matter until April 25th.
